Business Before Hours is changing. Moving forward we will not be sending out invitation emails to attend this wonderful networking event. We invite you to view our calendar of events of check the host and address of our Business Before Hours events. You may view our calendar of events here. Business Before Hours takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.

This wonderful event showcases our partners who have a smaller brick and mortar space. During this event learn about a Chamber Partner in our community. You also get to do a 30 second commercial about your business. If you do not have a brick and mortar space you are welcome to use the Beaverton Chamber’s conference room (based on availability). Health & Science School Needs YOU!

Health & Science School (HS2) would like to invite you to participate in our annual studentPassages presentations on May 3rd & May 4th, 2018!

Every year, each 8th grade and 12th grade student prepares a presentation called aPassage. During this presentation you will have the opportunity to hear about their unique Middle School or High School experience. Passages are not only a celebration of our students’ journey, but also an opportunity for students to reflect on their entire Middle School or High School career.

Former volunteers have reported being honored and humbled by student stories heard during Passages and return year after year to witness student success. Please join us during this important time to support our students as they venture into the next chapter of their life journey.

As part of the Passage Panel you will participate in a brief orientation where you will review your role and have the opportunity to ask questions about the process. If your schedule does not allow you be here for the designated block please select “other” and we will reach out to you to discuss when you can participate.

TiE XL Beaverton Bootcamp

The City of Beaverton Economic Development team is sponsoring an upcoming TiE XL Bootcamp.
The Boot Camp covers key-aspects of what an entrepreneur needs to know to be successful and provides opportunities for participants to connect with key influencers in the startup community. Classes will be held twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30 PM for five consecutive weeks starting April 23rd at the Beaverton Chamber Conference Room.
TiE XL Boot Camp was created for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs, and is instructed by entrepreneurs. The mission of TiE Oregon is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education and funding and aligns perfectly with the City of Beaverton’s interest in supporting innovators and entrepreneurs as a key to making Beaverton the best place to start and grow a business in Oregon!

10’x20′ Booth (6 Available) – You will receive 1 10’x10′ pop up tent, 1 table and 2 chairs in your blocked off 10’x20′ corner space on the lawn. You are welcome to provide your own additional pop up tent or rent one from us on a first come/first serve basis. $500 Chamber Partners / $750 Non-Partners
