Logical Position develops custom digital marketing campaigns focused on social media, search engine optimization, and website hosting and development. The company has grown from five to 45 full-time employees in three years, reported 300 percent growth in 2011 and projects an additional 600 percent growth in 2012.
Welch Allyn employs 250 full-time workers at its Beaverton manufacturing site and has facilities in 26 countries. Its new vital signs monitor has propelled the company into a global market leadership position. The company is listed by Fortune magazine as one of the 100 best companies to work for, and received a national award of excellence in corporate social responsibility.
Heitzman Body and Paint, a fourth generation, family-owned business marks 75 years in business this year. It recycles all paint, scrap metal, cardboard and aerosol cans, and has 15 full-time employees with plans to add more. Heitzman Body and Paint is also a long-time supporter of the Beaverton Arts Commission, Beaverton City Library, youth sports and the Care to Share food bank. They also provide a scholarship in auto repair and refinishing at Portland Community College.
