Building Community Leaders ![]() Ambassadors Reaching Out to the Community Ambassadors & Beaverton Sub Station take 1st Place Comedic Award at the 2008 Beaverton Community Parade! See pictures.... The Ambassador Committee is the Chamber’s most visible volunteer group. Members host ribbon-cuttings and chamber events, recruit and welcome new members and serve as the liaison between the Chamber and the business community. Ambassadors attend one monthly meeting, assist with member recruitment and orientation and organize the Friday morning Coffee Connection, a popular networking event held at a different business every week. The Ambassador Committee continues to grow, with a current membership of nearly 30. The group meets from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at Home Town Buffet on Hall Blvd. the second Thursday of every month.
